Introduction to Debrecen
Debrecen is Hungary’s second largest city, located in the Northern Great Plain region and serving as a seat for Hajdú-Bihar County. Known primarily for its Reformed Great Church where significant historical events occurred during revolution periods in 1848–1849, Debrecen is also home to Hungary’s University of Debrecen.
