How to connect Samsung Galaxy Gear to the Nexus 5

이며 현재 넥서스5에 갤럭시 기어를 정상적으로 연결해서 사용하고 있다.

뭐 장난감 정도의 물건이라 소소한 재미가 있다.

과정은 일단 다음과 같다.

넥서스5를 루팅을 한다. (루팅은 검색하면 아주 많이 나옴)

Install

gearmanagerstub.apk

on your phone (폰에 다운 받은 앱을 설치)

Download

Gear Manager 1.6.111801

and rename the APK file to ZIP ( PC 에서 다운 받은 앱의 확장자를 .zip로 바꿈)

Open that ZIP file and go to assets/preinstallapks

Install ever APK file found here to your device one by one (music and weather will not install, though). (알집같은 압축 유틸리티로 해당 파일 열어

assets/preinstallapks

Install 안에 있는 .apk 파일들을 일일이 설치해줌. 날씨와 음악 앱은 설치가 안되나봄 ㅋㅋ)

Install the full Gear Manager 1.6.111801 APK (the actual APK, not the ZIP) ( 다시 .apk로 확장자 바꾸고 폰에서 해당 앱을 설치해줌)

Pair your Galaxy Gear to the phone (try NFC-based connection and if it doesn’t work try manually pairing the two devices)

Install

ATNManager 1.2.2

(넥서스의 NFC 기능을 이용해서 갤기어의 뒤면에 가져다 데면 서로가 페어링이 됨)

Allow ATNManager access from Settings -> Security -> Notification Access (넥서스5 설정 > 보안> 알림액서스>ATN Manager 체크해줌)

Now choose which notifications you’d like to receive on your Galaxy Gear from ATNManager.

이렇게 하면 넥서스5와 갤기어가 서로 연결되어 시계나 연락처등이 동기화됨.
